Frequently asked questions

A little clarity before we begin.

What to expect when you approach the firm and how an engagement gets started.

How do I arrange an initial consultation?

Submit a brief inquiry through the consultation form or contact the office. The team will review the request and, where suitable, agree a time for an initial discussion. A requested date is a preference, not a confirmed appointment.

What should I include in my first inquiry?

Share a short, non-confidential description of the matter, the people or organisations involved and any relevant deadline. Do not attach or disclose sensitive documents through the website. We will explain how to share documents after initial checks.

Does an inquiry create a lawyer-client relationship?

No. A professional engagement begins only after the firm completes conflict checks, accepts the matter and agrees the terms in writing.

How are fees agreed?

Fees depend on the nature, complexity and scope of the work. The firm will discuss the proposed arrangement and set out the agreed terms before an engagement begins. This demonstration site does not quote fees.

Can we meet remotely?

You can request a phone or video discussion. Availability and the appropriate format will be confirmed by the team.

What if my matter is urgent?

Contact a qualified lawyer promptly and clearly explain the deadline. Website inquiries are not monitored continuously and should not be relied on for emergency or time-sensitive action.

Which languages can we use?

The demonstration profiles list Nepali and English, with additional languages where indicated. Confirm your preferred language when arranging a consultation.

Can I rely on articles as legal advice?

Articles are general information. The right approach depends on your facts and the applicable law, so seek advice on your specific situation before acting.
